Dear passengers,
Due to an unexpected incident in
Pakistan, to better assist our passengers in managing their travel plans,
Air
China is implementing a special ticket handling policy for flights involving
Pakistan. The details are as follows:
1. Applicable Conditions:
Tickets must meet all these
following criteria below
(1) Tickets with Air China ticket numbers
starting with “999”, including mileage redemption tickets, purchased or
reissued before or at 18:00 on May 7, 2025.
(2) Unused tickets for travel between May
7, 2025 (inclusive), and June 8, 2025 (inclusive),
involving Air China-operated
flights or codeshare flights with Air China flight numbers to/from Islamabad
(ISB) or Karachi (KHI).
(3) Ticket change or refund requests made
at or after 00:00 on May 7, 2025 (based on the time of reservation
cancellation).
2. Ticket Change and Refund Policy
If you have not yet decided on a new
travel date, please cancel your reservation through your original booking
channel, Air China’s customer service hotline (95583),
or sales agents before
the scheduled departure time. Once a new date is decided, you may proceed as
follows:
(1) Ticket Change
Within the validity period of the ticket,
the first change is free of changing fees (fare and tax differences may apply).
Subsequent changes are subject to the fare rules of the ticket.
(2) Refund
Within the ticket’s validity period,
unused segments can be refunded free of charge (used segments will be deducted
accordingly). If the ticket has already been changed under this notice and you
now request a refund, it will be handled according to the fare rules.
(3) Route Change or Interline Transfer
If you wish to change the itinerary or
carrier, we recommend you request a refund and purchase a new ticket
separately.
3. This notice takes effect on May 7,
2025.
