   2021: Air China Named among Fastest Growing Listed Companies in the Consumer Industry

In 2021, thanks to the company's efforts and improvement in market value management, investor relations and other work, Air China was selected as the 11th Fastest Growing Listed Company in the Consumer Industry.

   December 2021: Air China Named among Top 500 World Brands for the 11th Consecutive Year

In December 2021, World Brand Lab released the 2021 Top 500 World Brands list. Air China was the only Chinese listed airline in 2021, ranking 283rd. Air China also won the Annual No.1 Chinese Brand Award (18th edition) in the aviation services category and the "Culture Brand Award" for 2021.

   October 2021: Air China Awarded the Title of Best Chinese Airline

In October 2021, Air China was selected as Best Chinese Airline by readers of Business Traveller Asia-Pacific edition in the Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards.

   June 22, 2021: Air China Named as One of China's 500 Most Valuable Brands in 2021

On June 22, 2021, World Brand Lab held its 18th World Brand Conference and released its "500 Most Valuable Chinese Brands 2021" list. Air China was ranked in 23rd place on the list, first among Chinese airlines, with a brand value of RMB 197.236 billion.


2020

   December 22, 2020: Air China Named as One of the World's 500 Most Influential Brands for 14th Consecutive Year

On December 22, 2020, World Brand Lab held its 17th World Brand Conference and released its Top 500 World Brands 2020 list. Air China stood at number 282 on the list with a brand value of RMB 186.519 billion and was the only Chinese airline among the 43 Chinese companies on the list. Air China also won the 2020 "No. 1 Chinese Brand Award" in the Aviation category, in addition to receiving a special award — the 2020 "Annual Chinese Cultural Brand" Award.

   November 16, 2020: Air China Wins the "Golden Choice Airline" Award

On November 16, 2020, at the 15th "Golden Awards for China Tourism" prize ceremony organized by National Geographic Traveler magazine, Air China was presented with the "Golden Choice Airline" award.

   September 8, 2020: Air China Flight Corps and Chief Attendant Liu Tingting Respectively Named as National Group and Individual Role Models in the Fight against COVID-19

On September 8, 2020, a national conference was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing to commend role models in China’s fight against the COVID-19 epidemic. The Air China Flight Corps as well as Chief Attendant Liu Tingting were respectively given the honorary titles of National Distinguished Group and National Distinguished Individual for their response to COVID-19.

   August 5, 2020: Air China Named as One of China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands in 2020

On August 5, 2020, World Brand Lab held its 17th World Brand Conference in Beijing and released its "500 Most Valuable Chinese Brands 2020" list. Air China was ranked in 21st place on the list, first among Chinese airlines, with a brand value of RMB 186.519 billion.

   July 30, 2020: Air China Included in "2019 China Corporate Social Responsibility List"

On July 30, 2020, Southern Weekly newspaper published its "2019 China Corporate Social Responsibility List." Air China was ranked in 19th place on the list, first among Chinese airlines.


2019

   December 17, 2019: Air China Named as One of the World's 500 Most Influential Brands for 13th Consecutive Year

On December 17, 2019, World Brand Lab held its 16th World Brand Conference and released its 2019 list of the World's 500 Most Influential Brands. With a brand value of CNY 167.876 billion Air China stood at number 281 on the list, six places higher than the previous year’s ranking of 287th. Of the 40 Chinese companies on the list, Air China was the only Chinese airline. Air China also won the 2019 No. 1 Chinese Brand Award in the Aviation category, in addition to receiving a special award — the 2019 Annual Chinese Cultural Brand Award.

   December 12, 2019: Air China Recognized as Most Popular Domestic Airline Among Chinese Families for the 11th Consecutive Year

On December 12, 2019 in Beijing, the Global Times — Global Travel magazine held its 11th “Outbound Travels Most Popular with Chinese Families” awards ceremony. Air China was recognized as the “Most Popular Domestic Airline Among Chinese Families.” This is the 11th time Air China has received this honor since 2009.

   On June 26, 2019, Air China was listed among China’s Top 500 Most Valuable Brands for 2019.

On June 26, 2019, the World Brand Lab held its sixteenth World Brand Meeting, during which it unveiled “China’s Top 500 Most Valuable Brands of 2019”. Air China was listed at No. 21 with a brand value of 167.876 billion yuan - two places higher than last year and first among China's civil aviation.

   On May 6, 2019, Air China was selected as one of the "BrandZ 2019 Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands"

On May 6, 2019, WPP and Kantar jointly released the "BrandZ 2019 Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands" list in Beijing. Air China ranked 30th on the list with a brand value of 4.965 billion US dollars.

   On April 25, 2019, Air China won the "Partner of the Year" award

On April 25, 2019, the 14th Changi Airline Awards ceremony was held at Singapore Changi Airport. Air China was awarded the “Partner of the Year” - the highest accolade of its kind.

   On April 23, 2019, Air China's Hubei Branch was awarded China's National “May 1st” Labor Award.

On April 23, 2019, the May 1st International Workers' Day celebration & National May 1st Labor Award and the National Worker Pioneer Commendation Conference were held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Air China's Hubei Branch was awarded the National “May 1st” Labor Award - and was the only civil aviation to receive the award.

   On March 14, 2019, Air China won the 17th National Transportation Enterprise Management Modernization and Innovation Awards.

On March 14, 2019, the 17th annual National Transportation Enterprise Management Innovation Conference was held in Jinan City, Shandong Province. During the conference, Air China's "Enhanced Human Resources Information System Application to Realize Participation of All Staff in Management and Drive Management Efficiency Improvement" project won the first prize for innovation. The "Air China Wings Enterprise-level mobile application platform and employee-side app" project also won the second prize for innovation.

   On January 11-12, 2019, Air China won two awards: “Best Board of Directors” and “Most Innovative Board Secretary”

On January 11-12, 2019, the fourteenth “Golden Round Table Award” ceremony for the boards of directors of listed Chinese companies was held in Beijing. Air China won two awards: “Best Board of Directors” and “Most Innovative Board Secretary”.


2018

   On December 27, 2018, Air China was listed among the "World's 500 Most Influential Brands" for the twelfth consecutive year.

On December 27, 2018, the World Brand Lab convened the fifteenth edition of its World Brand Meeting, where it unveiled the “World's 500 Most Influential Brands”. Air China was listed at No. 287, with a brand value of RMB 145.295 billion, three places higher than its ranking last year (No. 290). Among all the 38 Chinese brands selected, Air China was the only airline. On the occasion, Air China also received the “2018 Annual No.1 Chinese Brand Award” in the aviation category, as well as the “2018 Annual Chinese Cultural Brand Award”.

   Air China won the “most popular domestic airline with Chinese families” award on December 12, 2018.

On 12 December, 2018, the 10th edition of "Most Popular Overseas Options" award ceremony by the Global Times took place in Beijing. Air China was named the most popular Chinese airline for the tenth time since 2009.

   In November 2018, Air China won the "Excellent Booth Award" and the "Excellent Organization Award" at the 2018 China International Tourism Trade Fair.

The 2018 China International Tourism Trade Fair was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center on November 16-18, 2018. Air China, as a special exhibitor, presented an all-round introduction of the company's brand image, flight network and a variety of service products - for which it won the “Excellent Booth Award” and the “Excellent Organization Award”.

   On November 23, 2018, Air China was selected as one of the "China Business Top 100"

On November 23, 2018, the 18th China Top 100 Listed Companies Summit, hosted by the Organizing Committee of China Top 100 Listed Companies Summit and the Wharton Economic Institute, took place in Beijing. Air China ranked No. 55 with a total profit of RMB 11.481 billion in the list of “China Top 100 Listed Companies in 2018”, and won the award of “China Business Top 100”.

   On November 22, 2018, Air China received the award of "2018 Consumers' Most Trusted Listed Companies in China"

On November 22, 2018, Air China won the "2018 Consumers' Most Trusted Listed Companies in China" award at the 2018 JRJC Summit on Innovation Development of China Listed Companies and Jinzhi Award Ceremony – Values of Listed Companies organized by JRJC.

   On October 19, 2018, Air China was honored the "2018 Mainland-Hong Kong Stock Connect Company with Best Investment Return Award"

On October 19, 2018, at the 2018 "Golden Wing Award" Mainland-Hong Kong Stock Connect Corporate Value and Awards Ceremony hosted by Securities Times, Air China won the "2018 Mainland-Hong Kong Stock Connect Company with Best Investment Return Award".

   On 20 June, 2018, Air China featured on the 2018 "China's Top 500 Most Valuable Brands" list released by World Brand Lab.

On 20 June, 2018, World Brand Lab held its 15th World Brand Convention in Beijing, where it released its 2018 list of China's 500 most valuable brands. Air China claimed the 23rd spot, making it the highest-ranking Chinese airline. Its total brand value topped RMB 145 billion, marking an increase of over RMB 16 billion from the previous year.


2017

   On December 28, 2017, Air China was listed as one of the World's 500 Most Influential Brands for the 11th consecutive year.

The World Brand Lab held the 14th World Brand Convention on December 28th, 2017, where it announced the 2017 Top 500 World Brands. Air China has brand worth of 128.536 billion yuan and was ranked at 290 in the world, 5 places higher than 295 last year. Of the 37 Chinese companies listed, Air China is the only civil aviation company. Air China was also awarded the 2017 Annual No.1 Chinese Brand Award (Aviation) and the 2017 Five Star Diamond Airlines Award, as well as another special award - the 2017 Annual Chinese Cultural Brand Award.

   On December 13, 2017, Air China was named Most Popular Chinese Airline.

On December 13, 2017, the Global Times held the 9th "Most Popular Overseas Travel Options" award ceremony in Beijing. Air China was named Most Popular Airlines for the 9th time since 2009.

On September 9, 2017, Air China was named as one of Asia's 500 Most Influential Brands

The 12th Asia's 500 Most Influential Brands ceremony was held in Hong Kong on September 9th, 2017. Air China was named as one of Asia's 500 Most Influential Brands and was ranked in 61st place, the number one Chinese civil aviation company on the list, up 27 places from last year.

   On July 22, 2017, Air China won the National Enterprise Culture Outstanding Achievement award.

   December 13, 2016: “Chinese Airline Most Popular with Chinese Families”

Air China was honored as the “Chinese Airline Most Popular with Chinese Families” at the award presenting ceremony of the 8th “Outbound Travels Most Popular with Chinese Families” poll held in Beijing by “Global Times –Global Travel” magazine on December 13, 2016. This was the 8th time Air China was honored with the award since 2009.

   December 15, 2016: “2016 Most Influential New Media Accounts of State-Run Enterprises”

Air China won the “2016 Most Influential New Media Accounts of State-Run Enterprises” award at the 4th Chinese Enterprises New Media Annual Conference held in Beijing on December 15, 2016.

   December 28, 2016: World Brands 500

Air China was featured again on the “World Brands 500 Rankings” released by World Brand Lab at the 13th World Brand Conference held on December 28, 2016 and stood at number 295 with a brand value of RMB 115.689 billion, 5 positions more advanced than the previous year’s 300th. Of the 36 Chinese companies on the list, Air China was the only Chinese airline. At the same time, Air China was honored with the “Chinese Brand Annual Award No. 1 (Aviation) 2016” and carried off a special award – “China Annual Brand Award”

Air China ranks 88th on the “Top 500 Asian Brands” list released at the 11th “Top 500 Asian Brands” ceremony held in Beijing on September 9, 2016, the top airline in China’s civil aviation industry, and was also honored with the “Top 10 Asian Trustworthy Enterprises” title at the ceremony.

Air China was honored with the “Outstanding Enterprise for Brand Building 2013-2015” by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) on August 9, 2016.

   Air China ranks 54th on the 2016 Fortune China 500 list released by Fortune magazine on July 13, 2016.

Air China was featured again on the “Top 500 Most Valuable Chinese Brands Rankings” released by World Brand Lab at the 13th World Brand Conference held in Beijing on June 22, 2016 and stood at number 23 with a brand value of RMB 115.689 billion, RMB 14.153 billion more than the previous year. Air China’s brand value is the highest among Chinese airlines. This is the 12th consecutive year that Air China has made it onto the list.

Air China ranks high on the “Most Trusted Global Brands 100” list released by Cohn & Wolfe, a global communications and public relations agency, in Beijing on April 21, 2016. The list is based on the results of a global survey on the credibility of different brands conducted by Cohn & Wolfe.

Air China was honored with the “Best Airline Award 2015” at the Second Civil Aviation Services Summit held in Nanjing from March 10 to March 11.

Air China was featured on the “2015 Top 50 Chinese Brands Influencing China” list released by Asian Brands Association and Asian Brands Research Institute in January 2016.

Of the 31 Chinese companies featured on the list, Air China was the only Chinese airline. At the same time, Air China was honored with the “Chinese Brand Annual Award No. 1 (Aviation) 2015” and carried off a special award – “Chinese Brand Award”

Air China was honored as the “Chinese Airline Most Popular with Chinese Families” at the award presenting ceremony of the 7th “Outbound Travels Most Popular with Chinese Families” poll held in Beijing by “Global Times – Global Travel” magazine on December 17, 2015. This was the 7th time Air China was honored with the award since 2009.

Air China was honored with the “China Trademark Golden Awards – Trademark Innovation Award” at the 2nd award presenting ceremony of “China Trademark Golden Awards” held in Shanghai on November 30, 2015.

Air China was honored with the “China Securities Market Outstanding Contribution Longding Award 2015” at the 11th annual China Securities Market Conference held in Beijing on November 20, 2015.

At the symposium jointly held by Civil Aviation Administration of China and the government of Tibet Autonomous Region on September 12, 2015, Air China was highly recognized for its outstanding contributions as a plateau air routes trail-blazer to the development of Tibet.

Air China was honored with the title “Role Model in the Capital” at the Central Government-Owned Enterprises Jingshen Wenming Work Promotion Meeting held by the Sate-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council in Beijing on July 23, 2015.

Air China was honored as the socially responsible enterprise most recognized by youths based on the results of the “Socially Responsible Enterprise Most Recognized by Youths Survey” (2014-2015) released at the meeting held at Beijing University on June 26, 2015.

Air China featured again on the “Top 500 Chinese Most Valuable Brands” list 2015 released by World Brand Lab at the 12th World Brand Conference held on June 16, 2015. The carrier stood at number 23 measured by its brand value of RMB 101.536 billion, RMB 9.637 billion more than the previous year. Air China is the top Chinese airline on the list.

Air China was honored with the title “Domestic Airline Gold Card Most Favored by Chinese Super Travelers” in the “Hurun Presidential Suits Awards” presented on June 1, 2015.

Air China was honored with the title “Role Model in the Capital” at the Central Government-Owned Enterprises Jingshen Wenming Work Promotion Meeting held by the Sate-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council in Beijing on June 1, 2015.

Civil Aviation Resource Net (www.carnoc.com) released the “2014 Civil Aviation Passenger Service Evaluation Report” at the first Civil Aviation Service Summit held in the city of Xiamen on April 23, 2015. According the report, Air China carried off three awards, including “Best Civil Aviation Service Airline Award 2014”, “Airline Service Best Progress Award 2014” and “In-flight Entertainment Best Progress Award 2014”.


2014

Air China featured again on the “Top 500 Chinese Most Valuable Brands” list 2014 released by World Brand Lab at the 11th World Brand Conference held on December 29, 2014. The carrier stood at number 322 on the world brands list, 9 spots ahead compared with the previous year’s 331st spot, with a brand value of RMB 91.899 billion. Air China is the top Chinese airline on the list. At the same time, Air China also won the “2014 Chinese Brand Annual Awards NO.1 (Aviation), and also a special award “2014 China Annual Cultural Brand Award”.

Air China featured on the “Top Ten New Media Accounts 2014 of Central Government–Owned Enterprises” at the 2nd Chinese Enterprises New Media Annual Conference held in Beijing in December 2014.

Air China was honored with the “Domestic Airline Most Favored by Chinese Families” award by the Global Times - Travel Weekly at a ceremony held in Beijing on December 16, 2014. This has been the sixth consecutive time the carrier was honored with the award since 2009.

Air China was honored with the title “Best Chinese Airline” based on the award winners list 2014 released by Business Travel magazine on November 12, 2014.

Air China featured again on the “Top 500 Chinese Most Valuable Brands” list 2014 released by World Brand Lab at the 11th World Brand

Conference held on June 25, 2014 and stood at number 24 measured by its brand value of RMB 91.899 billion, RMB 15.3 billion more over the previous year. Air China is the top Chinese airline on the list.

Air China featured again on the “Top 500 Chinese Most Valuable Brands” list 2013 released by World Brand Lab at the 10th World Brand Conference held on December 27, 2013 and stood at number 326 on the world brands list, 5 spots ahead compared with the previous year’s 331st spot, with a brand value of RMB 76.568 billion. Air China is the top Chinese airline on the list.


2013

Air China was honored with the “Domestic Airline Most Favored by Chinese Families” award by the Global Times -Travel Weekly at a ceremony held in Beijing on December 11, 2013. This has been the 5th consecutive time the carrier was honored with the award since 2009.

Business Traveler China released, on September 27, 2013, the results of its readers poll 2013, and Air China was honored with the title “Best Chinese Airline”.

Air China featured prominently on the “Asian Brands 500 ” list released at the 8th “Asian Brands 500” award presenting ceremony held in Hong Kong on September 9, 2013. Air China was the top brand in China’s airline industry.

Air China was honored as the “MICE Supporting Airline of the Year” at the awards presenting ceremony of the “2013 China Travel & Meeting Industry Awards” held in Beijing on September 4, 2013. The awards were handed out jointly by “Travel Weekly” magazine and “Events” magazine, both of with are influential media in the travel industry.

On June 26, 2013, the World Brand Lab held the 10th World Brand Conference in Beijing to announce "China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2013". With a brand value of RMB 76.568 billion, an increase of more than 14 billion yuan over last year, Air China held 24th place on the list and ranked first in the domestic aviation service sector.

On April 27, 2013, the 10th Anniversary Ceremony of the Peace Tour and the International Art Exhibition of Peace Art Masters was held in the Golden Hall of the Great Hall of the People. This event was hosted by the PRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the PRC Ministry of Culture and the People’s Government of the Beijing Municipality. Air China was awarded the “Excellent Partner Award” by the Beijing Peace Tour Cultural Exchange Center on the basis of its perfect transport guarantee.

Air China was honored with a "Top Ten Chinese Corporate Green Responsibility Award" at the Fifth China International Forum on Green Development on April 21,2013 for its outstanding performance in energy saving and emission reduction and its advocacy of green operations.


2012

On December 28, 2012, the World Brand Lab hosted the 2012 World Entrepreneur Forum in Hong Kong to release the list of “Global Top 500 Brands”. With a brand value of RMB 61.885 billion, Air China ranks 331, a net increase of 14 places over its 2011 ranking. Air China, the only listed domestic airline that placed among the Global Top 500 Brands, also was awarded the "Chinese Brand Annual Award No. 1 in the Air Service Sector" for the seventh consecutive year, coupled with a special "2012 Chinese Culture Brand Award".

On November 23, 2012, the People’s Daily Health Times Press hosted the 2012 Health China Awards Ceremony in Beijing, co-sponsored by The Research Center for Public Health and the Institute of Health Communication at Tsinghua University. At the event, Air China was awarded the 2012 Health China - Public Welfare Project Media Recommendation Award for its outstanding contributions to public welfare.

On November 14, 2012, Business Traveler, the most influential international business travel magazine, announced the results of their 2012 Readers’ Survey. Air China won the title “Best Chinese Airline”.

On September 9, 2012, Air China was named 7th on the Top 500 Asian Brands List released at the Asian Brands Ceremony held in Hong Kong, ranking first among Chinese airlines.

On July 17, 2012, Air China won recognition at the national employment creation recognition meeting hosted by the State Council. Feng Run’e, Air China’s Vice General Secretary of the CPC Committee, was well received by national leaders including Wen Jiabao, the prime minister and a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, as a representative of one of the National Outstanding Enterprises for Employment Creation. Air China is the only civil aviation company among all 21 enterprises directly under the Central Government.

On June 28, 2012, the World Brand Lab held the 9th World Brand Conference to announce "China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2012" (the 9th edition). With a brand value of RMB 61.885 billion yuan, an increase of more than 14 billion yuan over last year, Air China held 24th place in the list and ranked first in the domestic aviation service sector.

On June 12, 2012, the 68th IATA Annual General Meeting and World Air Transport Summit Air China was hosted by Air China in Beijing and Air China won the Fast Travel Gold Award presented by IATA’s CEO Tony Tyler.

On June 5, 2012, the 7th International CSR Forum and awards ceremony for the "2011 Golden Bee CSR China Honor Roll" were held in Beijing. Air China was honored with the "Leading Enterprise" award and Air China’s case study titled "Advanced Navigation Technology Brings Overall Value" was listed in the 2011 Golden Bee CSR Competitiveness Case Collection.

On May 22, 2012, the awards ceremony for Superbrands China 2012 was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Shanghai by Superbrands, a world-recognized independent brand research and assessment company. Air China was honored with the "2012 Most Favored Brand for Chinese" award.

On April 26, 2012, Air China received the title of "China’s Model Online E-commerce Enterprise for Creditability", and Air China’s official website at www.airchina.com.cn was honored with a "Credible Website" certificate.

On April 19, 2012, Air China was honored with the "TTG Best Chinese Airline" award at the grand awards ceremony for TTG China Travel held in Shanghai. It is the fifth consecutive year that Air China won this award since its introduction in China in 2008.

On March 20, 2012, the press conference and awards ceremony to announce the rankings for the Chinese Edition of the Fortune Top 25 Socially Responsible Companies in China were held in Beijing and Air China was named 17th on the list. This indicates that Air China’s CSR performance has been widely recognized in the sector.


2011

On December 29, 2011, the World Brand Lab held the 2011 World Entrepreneur Forum in Hong Kong to release the "Global Top 500 Brands" list. As the only domestic airline on the list, Air China held 345th place with a brand value of RMB 47.856 billion yuan and has been listed for 5 consecutive years. Moving up 38 positions since 2010,, Air China now ranks 5th on the list of fast growing brands. Air China also earned the "Chinese Brand Annual Award No.1 Air Service Sector" for the sixth consecutive year, coupled with a special "2011 Chinese Culture Brand Award".

On December 13, 2011, Air China was honored as the "Most Preferred Domestic Airline for Chinese Households" at the awards ceremony hosted by the Travel Weekly section of Global Times magazine. It is the third consecutive year that Air China won this award since 2009.

On October 13, 2011, Air China's phoenix logo won the "Visual Expression Design" award at the Beijing Design Week 2011 award ceremony.

On August 8, 2011, the grand opening ceremony for the 5th China Brand Festival was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and the 2011 Brand China Huapu Annual Awards were also unveiled. Air China earned the title "World-recognized National Symbol".

On June 28, 2011, the World Brand Lab released the list of "China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2011" (the 8th edition) at the 8th World Brand Conference. With a brand value of RMB 47.856 billion yuan, an increase of more than 7 billion yuan and one rank higher than last year, Air China holds 24th place on the list and the first place in the domestic aviation service sector. Chief Economist Xu Jianqiang received the award and made a speech on behalf of Air China.
