The mobile website/APP offers:
(1) This rule applies to:
A.Domestic air transport issued with Air China domestic ticket showing Air China carrier code and flight operated by Air China.
B.Domestic air transport issued with Air China domestic ticket showing Air China carrier code and flight operated by the other carrier.
C.Domestic air transport operated by Air China flight and issued with domestic tickets of the other carrier that has signed a sales or an interline agreement with Air China.
(2)Thechange and refund fee standards (new standards) shown in these rules are applicable to domestic tickets sold after January 1, 2025(included).
(3)For domestic tickets sold before January 1, 2025 (excluded), if change is to be made after January 1, 2025 (included) and a new ticket number is generated, the handling fee standards for change (new standards) shall apply when the change is made again.
(4)For the refund and change policy of special fare products, the corresponding rules in such products shall apply.
(5)These rules shall be regarded as an integral part of “Air China General Conditions of Carriage for Passenger and Baggage”.
(1)The fares of domestic tickets areshown on the coupon,and the amount actually paid must coincide with the fares as shown.The fare subjects to the published fare of system.The rounding unit of fares shall be rounded nearest unit to CNY10 in accordance with the unit of 1. For example if rounding unit is nearest 10, round up when the rounding unit of 1 is between 5 and 9 meanwhile round down when the routing unit of 1 is between 0 and 4.
(2) If the fare rules herein are met, such fare rules shall prevail. If the conditions are not specified in fare rules, “Air China General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage” shall be followed.
"Flight departure time"specified below refers to the flight departure time shown on the ticket . "7 days before flight departure time" is 7 × 24 hours, i.e.168 hours. "7 days before flight departure time" and "4 hours before flight departure time"shall all be accurate to minutes. For example, for a flight scheduled to take off at 12:10 on June 8, 2025, the corresponding time node of "7 days before the flight take off time" is:12:10 on June 1, 2025;and that of"4 hours before the flight take off time" is: 8:10 on June 8, 2025.
(4)Theservice fee for voluntary change, refund and fare difference shall be calculated according to the fare of the corresponding sector shown on the ticket.The rounding unit of voluntary change and refund fee shall be rounded to the nearest RenMinBi Yuan.
(1)Infant on domestic tickets shall be charged 10% of the applicable adult normal fare (F/J/G/Yclass fares) on the same flight.For infant ticket no voluntary change and refund fees shall be charged and voluntary change of carrier is allowed.
(2)Child including unaccompanied child shall be charged 50% of the applicable adult normal fare (F/J/G/Yclass fares) . For child ticket with the fare types like FCH50/JCH50/GCH50/YCH50 and 50% discounted child fare, change of carrier is allowed for accompanied child and is not allowed for unaccompanied child. For child including accompanied child, the change fee is free of charge and the refund fee is as same as that of the adult fare of the same booking class code.
(3)For the fares other than the discount shall be subject to the relevant voluntarychange and refund rules.
(4)In addition to the change and refund fee other rules of change and refund refer to the following “voluntary refund for individual passengers” and “voluntary change for individual passengers”
(1)Forchildren (including unaccompanied child)fare and the disabled armyservicemen and police disabled on dutywith 50% of the normal fares,the reservation classes shall beF/J/G/Y class. Forchildren (including unaccompanied child)fare and the disabled armyservicemen and police disabled on duty who purchase tickets with morethan 50% discount off, the booking class and fare type shall be based on what are shown in the system.
(2)Forinfant farewith10% of the normal fares, the cabin service andthe reservation classes must be the sameas that of the accompanying adult. For example: if the adult ticket is in economy class Y, the infant ticket must also be booked in economy class Y.
(3)Ticketing time limit : subject to the information displayed in PNR
(4)OPEN tickets: not allowed. Reservation must be confirmed before tickets are issued.
Please consult the local offices of Air China for the group passenger fares and the refund and change policy.
(1)Theservice fee for voluntary refund is calculated based on the fare of the corresponding sector shown on the ticket in CNYbeingrounded nearest to CNY1.
(2)The refund service feefor the applicable time period shall be chargedbased on the interval between the cancellation time of the unused sector and the departure time displayed on the ticket.
(3) Refund rules for ticket partially used : the fare of the used sector shall be deducted from the totally fare as the amount to be recalculated.The refund service feeshall be calculatedbased on the interval betweenthe time of cancellation of booking and the departure time of the unused sectorshown on the ticket.The balance shall be refunded to the passenger.
(4)Refund rules on exchanged ticket: For application for refund on exchanged ticket submittedafter January 1, 2025 (included), the refund service fee shall be charged based on the time of cancellation of booking of the exchanged ticket, and the fare, class and charging ratios of the original ticket. If there is any fare difference that has been collected, that difference shall be refunded. The changeservice fee that has been collected shall not be refunded; In other words, for exchanged ticket refund, the refund service feeshall be calculatedbased on the interval betweenthe time of cancellation of booking and the departure time of the unused sector on the exchanged ticket. And then calculate the refund service fee based on the fare and class of the corresponding sector shown on the original ticket(i.e. the first ticket). Forthe fare difference charged by unused sectorswhen the ticket is exchanged, it shall be totally refunded to passenger.
(5) For the scenarios (2), (3) and (4 ) mentioned above,voluntary refund on Air China official website or flagship stores, the applicablerefund fee shall be charged according to the interval between the time of refund submission and the flight departure time shown on the ticket.
(6) According to the“Air China General Conditions for Transportation of Passengers and Baggage”refund shall be requested and made within the validity period of the ticket,the airport fee and fuel service chargeof the unused sectorshall be refunded.
For refund on a partially used ticket with a singleround-trip fare(the case where the round-trip fare is lower than twice of the one-way fare), please deduct 1/2 of theround-trip fare shown of the ticket, and the balance shall be used to calculate the refund fee of the corresponding class.

(1)Voluntarychange means change of flight, date, class, carrier,etc.
(2)Theservice fee for voluntary changeis calculated based on the fare of the corresponding sector shown on the ticket in CNY whichis rounding to the nearest CNY1.
(3) In case of voluntary change, the fare shall be recalculated. The fare difference shall be calculated according to the face value of the corresponding sector. The fare difference shall be collected at any time.
(4)The service fee shall be charged according to intervalbetween the time of canceling the booking of the unused sectorand the departure time of unused sectorshown on the ticket.
Exception: For the voluntary change on Air Chinawebsite or flagship store, the service fee shall be according to the interval time of request made and the flight departure time shown on the ticket.
(5)For voluntary change ticket , when the reservation is cancelledand the ticket becomes an OPEN ticket, the fare shall be recalculatedfor rebooking. Thefare differenceand the change service fee shall be collected together.
Ticket fare shall be recalculated. Any fare difference and the change service feeshall be charged.
(1)For class downgraded(including downgrade from a higher class to a lower class in the same cabin classes or from a higher cabin to a lower cabin) shall betreated as voluntary refund and a new ticket shall be repurchased. Examples: Ydowngrade to W, M1 to V, F to J, J to Y, C to V1, etc.
(2)For class upgrade (including upgrade from a lowerclass to higher class in the same cabin classes or from a lower cabin to a higher cabin),
A.When the flight and date have not been changed., if upgrade from a lower cabin to a higher cabin and the new fare is higher than or equal to the original fare,only the fare difference shall be charged, no change fee will be charged. Examples: S to G, M1 to R, D to A, etc. If upgrade from a lower class to a higher class in the same cabin classes, the fare shall be recalculated.Any fare differenceand the change service feeshall be charged at the same time. Examples: S to V, Q1 to M1, H1 to Y, etc.
B.When the flight and/or date change, the fare shall be recalculated.Any fare differenceand the change service fee shall be charged at the same time. Example: U1 to Y, B to C, R to J, etc.
C.Any changes after upgrading shall be implemented the new change fee standard.
D.If the new fare is lower than the original fare, the class upgrade shall betreated as voluntary refund and a new tickets shall be repurchased.
(3) For the change of the same sub-class (e.g. M changed to M, M1 changed to M1, M1 changed to M, C changed to C,etc), the fare shall be recalculated.Any fare differenceand the change service fee shall be charged at the same time. If the new fare is lower than the original fare, the difference shall not be refunded and only the change service fee shall be charged.
(4) For the scenarios (2)mentioned above,voluntary upgrade on Air China official website, the fare shall be recalculated.Any fare differenceand the changeservice fee shall be charged at the same time.
(1)For normal fares of first class (F), business class (J), premium economy class (G) and economy class (Y), thegovernment procurement fares of F/J/G/Y class, the voluntary change of carrier is allowed. If the applicable fare of the new carrieris higher than that of Air China, the fare difference andthe change service feeshall be collected. If the applicable fare of the new carrier is lower than that of Air China, the fare difference shall not be refunded but the changeservice feeshall be charged.
(2)Forother discount fares of class,it is not allowed to change the carrier voluntarily; if the passenger applies for change of the carrier voluntarily, it shall be treated as voluntary refund.
Treated asvoluntary refund
For a singleround-trip fare (the round-trip fare is lower than twice the one-way fare) and partially used tickets, the change service fee is 1/2 of theround-trip fare; If the new round-trip fare is available, the fare difference shall be calculate based on 1/2 of theround-trip fare.If no round-trip fare is available , the fare difference shall becalculated based onthe new one-way fare and 1/2 of the original round-trip fare.
